The Gaisthaler Hof is located in the middle of Schönsee in the Upper Palatinate. This village has been awarded several times as the most beautiful village in the region. The country hotel was built in 1956 and expanded and renovated in the 1980s. Guests here are mainly riders, families, cyclists and motorbikers. A riding stable is located only a few 100m in the rear area of the Gaisthaler Hof and attracts many guests, both during the day and at events, to the country hotel.

The location:
The city im Upper Palatinate Forest is close to the Border between Germany and Czech Republic in the neighborhood of the city Hostouň (Hostau) in west bohemia in the valley of the Aschawho have die Schwarzach and Naab in die Danube flows, embedded between the 808.6 m high piece mountain and dem Drechselberg (836 m a.s.l. NHN). A few kilometers east of Schönsee is the Weingartnerfels. At 896.6 meters, it is the highest elevation in the district. A 30 m high lookout tower, the Bohemian Forest Tower, was built there in 1984. Schönsee is located in Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park. When it comes to gastronomy, there is not much competition in the region. There are about 12 restaurants within a radius of 20km.

The passage to the stables must remain guaranteed by the new owner. The number of tourists in Bavaria is increasing again steadily. The Upper Palatinate in particular experienced a boom in overnight guests in 2022.
